Medium: Found 1940's Lifo Print. Hopi bird form stylized by introduction of all the elements of the conventional kachina costume. Introduced from Hopi to Zuni, the Eagle Dance in both villages is a prayer that eaglets in the nests on the rocky mesa ledges may be increased in number, so that there will be a plentiful supply of fine feathers for the garments of the supernaturals in the other world.
